Meet the Photographer

I'm Nicki Kane, also known as Novia Prince-Nesbeth, a highly experienced and versatile creative professional with a rich background spanning 16 years.
​
My artistic journey began at the age of 5, driven by a passion to become an artist in various forms. Starting with drawing, I gradually expanded my artistic horizons, embracing different mediums as I grew older. While the early stages of my life involved manual and in-person artistic exploration, my transition into the digital era at the age of 13 marked a significant turning point. This period saw the flourishing of my photography and graphic design skills, as I delved into various techniques and software applications.

My photography venture commenced with a small pink Panasonic point-and-shoot camera I stumbled upon in my mother's closet, leading me to where I am today. Along this creative journey, I've assumed diverse roles such as Photographer, Graphic Designer, Creative Director, Director, and more. My academic journey took me to the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, where I earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a major in Visual Communication, focusing on Graphic Design.

Expanding beyond my academic foundation, I officially ventured into realms like creative direction, art direction, and film. Collaborating with renowned brands such as Grace Foods, Clarks, Pepsi, Wray and Nephew, Apple Music, and others, I've handled various projects, showcasing my skills in creative direction and photography. Notable achievements include providing creative direction for entertainers like Lila Ike´ and Jahmiel, as well as collaborating with brands like Café Blu and House of Marley to shape creative ideas for photoshoots, online campaigns, brand strategy, and more.
